Wes Ward is the owner/operator of West Texas RV Inspections, LLC. As an RV owner himself he knows how rewarding RV’ing can be. At the same time he is aware of the many potential pitfalls that new buyers and owners may face. This is what inspired Wes to become an RV inspector.

Wes’ Background
Wes spent 15 years as an Electrician and Electrical Contractor. After which, he went back to school and received an Accounting Degree from Texas Tech University. However, he realized that sitting behind a desk wasn’t for him, so he worked for the next 25 years as a Division Manager and Regional Sales Manager for a large Electrical Wholesale Distributor. By 2017, he was ready to slow down a little and really start seeing the country.
He purchased a Class C motorhome and was ready to hit the road.
However, on the very first trip out, he realized there were some problems with the rig. The auto level failed, the air conditioner wouldn’t keep cool in the hot Texas sun, and the slide had to be overridden to retract. He took the motorhome back to the dealership for repairs, and a month later, was ready to try it again. This experience showed him that he needed to learn to do the repairs himself in order to avoid an extended wait again in the future.
Wes enrolled in NRVTA’s RV Technician program.
This taught him all about RV inspections and he realized he’d made a big mistake by not getting his pre-purchase RV inspection. Hoping to help others avoid the same fate, he became a NRVIA Certified Inspector.
